Tuberculosis services are always free to the patient. We do not ask about immigration status. See the flyer (PDF) for more information on City services available to all New Yorkers.
Note: In addition to the regularly scheduled closing dates, clinics may be closed due to weather conditions or City emergencies. Call 311 for more information.
You can be tested if you have risk factors for developing TB disease, including exposure to someone with infectious TB disease. Chest Centers do not offer TB testing for work or school purposes (See "Changes to Services at Chest CentersXổ số hỗn hợp hôm nay"). TB testing is available at low or no cost at many community health clinics and .
You must have an appointment to be seen. Please call the chest center you wish to visit to make an appointment. Please check the list below for the nearest chest center in your area.

Xổ số hỗn hợp hôm nayThe Health Department is required by law to bill health insurance companies for tuberculosis services. If you have insurance, the Health Department will bill your insurance plan.
What can I expect at my visit?
The TB chest centers provide several services during one visit, so you may spend a little more time than you would at a typical medical appointment. All TB-related care, including blood work, sputum collection, X-ray and medication, is provided at the center, on the day of your visit, at no cost to you.

The chest centers do not routinely provide test results via phone, email or text. In most situations, patients are required to return to the clinic to get results and information about next steps needed to complete their evaluation. In some limited cases, with your authorization, TB test results can be mailed to you or your designated provider or program.
